Air National Guard Headquarters and Readiness Center
CHALLENGE
Through the Department of Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission, the Air National Guard (ANG) received funding to build a 338,000 square foot, two-building project on Joint Base Andrews to house transferred staff and expand conference and training facilities. The new Air National Guard Readiness Center technology solutions needed to support ANG’s vision of “communicate, coordinate and collaborate.”
SOLUTION
The facility implemented a full communication system using an AMX SIP Communications Gateway and Metreau Communicator. A mix of wall-mounted and tabletop AMX touch panels were installed in 26 training and conference rooms. Resource Management Suite MeetingManager software was also installed to ensure efficient use of meeting space.
IMPACT
"AMX brought a full portfolio of solutions that addressed what was important to the client. AMX had a superior product offering which tied together communications, connectivity and sophisticated user interfaces that will help the Air National Guard achieve their mission goals for years to come."
